The Gas Safety Trust provides grants to a wide range of charities, voluntary groups, associations, gas related businesses, social housing associations, local authorities, statutory organisations, academia bodies many others that meet one, or more, of our chosen areas of focus, being:
- Research
- Training and Education
- Evidence Gathering
- Advocacy
How can you apply for funding?
Applications submitted to The Gas Safety Trust are considered on a ‘rolling’ basis and awarded, rejected or deferred bi-monthly following each Trustee meeting.
Full completion of a Grant Application Form is required.
We have provided a Grant Application Procedure and Guidelines document and also a Terms and Conditions document, in order for you to evaluate whether your application is appropriate and to assist you.

Certain applications may require additional, or ongoing, funding requirements, which can also be obtained from the Apply Now page.
When the Trustees have approved a funding request, and at the completion of funding timescale, applicants are required to complete a Grant Report Form.
It is the intention of Trustees to ensure that the application system is as simple and effective as possible and we appreciate feedback, and comments, on this procedure.
